Big one tonight

Big announcment tonight - in spite of all the other things going on with the blogshares front, managed to finally role the wiki help nodes - a complete rewrite of the old help system, now using mediawiki as a backend. Complete with auto login and all sorts of fun things.

Well, lots, and not so much at the same time.

Recently completed some changes in the contest system.
I have 2 large projects on the back burner right now - more on those soon - just need the energy and time to really run with them first :)

Bad JtSage

Well, no real shock that it's been months since my last post.

Since then:

1.) We produced Annie (a show about the little orphan girl). It went over quite well - used a set built in the late 90's, so that was a bit of a challange to bring it up to standards and make it look again, but overall I'm happy with the results. Photos to follow soon.

2.) Current project - A Lyrical Christmas Carol - this one featuring a motorized turntable - something I've never gotten to work well in the past - on the up side, I am very, very close to having a viable solution - lots of photos to follow if it works.

3.) Update on the blogshares front: First, I am very happy to accept a GIC (game improvment commision) post. Looks to be a ton of fun. Second, broke the less than 1,000 ideas left to collect, and less than 100 artefacts to collect. Getting very close to the B$ 10T mark as well. Finally broke into the top 25 composite ranking, my name is in lights so to speak: http://blogshares.com/new_leaders.php

This is some kind of record. I have posted to the same blog 14 whole times without it fizzling and dieing. Wow.

In unrelated news, I have a job. I will be serving as the Technical Director for Pittsburgh Musical Theater (http://www.pittsburghmusicals.com/) for their 2007-2008 season. It's nice to know what comes next this year :)
